What is on tonight?

2,798 of the 2,993 venues on this site run a happy hour on a Tuesday. Thursday is the busiest night we track at 2,912, and Sunday the quietest at 1,128. The list above is everything running today, grouped by city so you are not scrolling past four states to find your own.

Windows are each venue’s local time, and the day rolls over at local midnight rather than yours. A bar in Los Angeles is still on tonight’s list while New York has moved on to tomorrow.

Why the list is grouped, not ranked

A national “best happy hours tonight” ranking would be made up — there is no honest way to rank a rooftop in NoMad against a steakhouse on North Lincoln Avenue. So this page groups by city and, inside a city, puts what starts soonest first.

Every window carries where it came from and when a person last checked it. Open any venue and the schedule card says so in plain language, with a correction link that reaches a real queue.

Questions about tonight

Today's day of the week, in each venue's own time zone. A venue is on this page if its happy hour runs today, whether that window has already closed, is open now, or starts later this evening. The pill on each card tells you which, read from your own clock.

Because venues concentrate their happy hours midweek. Thursday is the busiest night we track, with 2,912 venues; Sunday is the quietest, with 1,128. The day row above carries every night's real count, so you can see it before you tap.

Every window on this site says where its time came from and how many days ago a person last looked at it. Open any venue and the schedule card spells that out in plain language, with a correction link that reaches a real queue. There is no badge here claiming a time is verified.

Yes. Each city heading below links to that city's own page, which carries every night of the week rather than just tonight. "Use my location" reorders this page by distance instead.
