Lamberts has smoked Texas barbecue since 2006 in the restored Schneider Brothers Building on West 2nd Street downtown, with an upstairs bar and stage for live music and a patio with its own smoker. At the bar, Monday to Friday, 3pm to 5pm, bar food is half price and cocktails, draft beer and wine by the glass are $2 off. None of the 9 other downtown Austin happy hours on file ends as early.
