George Washington said goodbye to his officers at this Pearl Street tavern in the Financial District after the Revolution. It dates to 1762 and now holds several bars, among them a whiskey bar and a piano bar upstairs, with a museum next door. Monday to Friday, 4pm to 7pm, oysters are $1.50 each (six minimum), SingleCut draft beer is $7 and a Malbec is $12.
