Happy hours are allowed at any time of day, but a standard drink cannot cost less than $3.05 plus HST. Two-for-one deals, free drinks and all-you-can-drink offers are banned.

The rules

  1. Each standard serving (341 ml beer or cooler, 142 ml wine, 42.6 ml spirits) must sell for at least $3.05 plus HST.

  2. Two-for-one, a second drink for a token price, free liquor and unlimited drinking for a lump sum are banned.
