Kentucky has no statewide limit on happy hour times or discounts. Bars may not sell or give away drinks below cost, and ads may not promise free or unlimited drinks.

The rules

  1. A retail licensee may not sell or give away alcohol for less than cost.

    KRS 244.050

  2. Ads may not use "free" for alcohol or offer all-you-can-drink or unlimited drinks for a fee.
