Upstairs on 18th Street in the Castro, Poesia is a Calabrian osteria open since 2008, with Italian films projected on the dining room walls and a heated garden patio. Owner Francesco changes the all-Italian wine list monthly. Every day from 5pm to 6:30pm, cocktails, house wine and house beer are $10, olives are $6 and polpette $13.
